The dead often squish these beetles on sight. They will burrow into anything, including wooden shaft supports, leather boots, and that delicious slug spine sandwich that was planned for lunch. Since the Skeletons can eat their weight in beetles, Lt. Graves tries to lure minions to the Dead Camp by leaving squashed beetles along the way. Rumor has it they taste a little like Arbor nuts.
