Of, Course...

...it couldn't be too simple, could it? I don't know why I was expecting anything different.

New Quest Unlocked!

- Defeat the Wight Champion once!

You spar with Philima for a quite a while. She summons phantastical phantasms for you to battle and strikes you numerous times with flashy and colorful spells. You think that she was holding back a little those other times you two were or will be having a friendly spar...you can't remember which. Still, you manage to defeat all of her magical creations and are always quick on your feet after one of her blows strikes you down.

Suddenly the two of you notice that more and more spells are missing their target and are seemingly soaked into the very sand beneath your feet. Philima stops and stares at the ground, as if trying to find something inside her own memories. At that very moment a huge undead creature ruptures from the sands, clad in very old and ornate armor, holding a gigantic dark red sword. It lunges at you. On the stands, you hear the crowds starting to cheer even louder than before, as if they think your sparring match is still going on and the thing before you is one coming out of the Sorceresses own magic. You’re not quite certain about that yourself, but even before you manage to shoot a questioning look at your opponent, you hear her voice in your head.

Oh, what I fool I was to allow this to happen. Now I remember why the Games stopped happening. It was the work of the Shadow! His sudden attack on the coliseum brought a swift end to countless of innocent people, and even the mighty Champion fell before his blade. He must have placed necromantic spells around the place at that time for something like this to happen! All the magic I’ve used has now awakened that thing!

Quickly now, Champion of Magic, you must defeat it somehow! I'll place some spells to protect the people wh,o as you can see, are completely unsuspecting!

You have received a new title: the 2012 Magic Champion.

You’re too busy preparing to strike at the thing to even notice that your new Champion title doesn’t come along with a token.
